UNITY HALL, 65-02 MYRTLE AVENUE, ca 1909
| This multi-purpose structure was built just east of Cypress Hills Street in 1909. It had bowling alleys in the basement, Minnie Peters’ saloon on the ground floor and an assembly hall upstairs. For a while Judge Denton held his court here and the saloon became a bicycle shop. Today the Kolping Society used the second floor and a bar again occupies the street floor. The columns disappeared during the 1920’s.
